VP/Banking; Chief Risk Officer & CCO
Mike Riggin serves as VP, Banking and Chief Risk Officer and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of Global Holdings, LLC, its subsidiaries and affiliates. Global hired Mike in 2009 to develop the company’s long-term banking strategy, expand its banking relationships and manage its compliance functions. Mike was promoted to Chief Risk Officer in 2010 and the title of CCO was added in 2015. Currently Mike has overall responsibility for the company’s banking relationships and all risk, compliance, and audit functions including federal regulatory examinations. Mike is an accomplished expert in external audit management including BSA/AML; NACHA Rules; IT/GLBA and SOC 1 audits and has examination leadership experience with all primary banking regulators including the FDIC, OCC and Federal Reserve Bank and non-examination experience with the CFPB. He sits on several advisory boards including that of a large banking institution and more recently The Clearing House.
Prior to joining Global Mike had a lengthy and successful career with Bank of America and its predecessor, NationsBank, including roles in product management and regional and national sales management within the bank’s Global Treasury Management organization. He also spent several years as a Market President for a predecessor of Legacy Texas Bank where he was responsible for building out the bank’s North Dallas retail banking footprint, branches and market presence. Mike received a B.S. degree from Fordham University and completed the ABA’s National Compliance School among other post-graduate coursework. He has also served as a panelist on regulatory compliance matters at industry and payments association conferences.
